We found Old Hickory in the fall of 2004.
When living in the Milwaukee area I began asking people I played with where THEY liked to play outside of Milwaukee.
Old Hickory routinely came up. I came, I played and I fell in love with the course.
In addition, my wife now loves the coarse (39 handicap), my 12 year old son loves the coarse (19 handicap) and it challenges me ever time I play it.
The tree lined fairways, rolling hills and unbelievably true greens will keep you coming back. This course is pleasing to the eye and there are no easy putts.
After your first round you'll be itching to play it again. You may want to plan a 36 hole day. This course continually challenges you to take risks. Every time you go back youll discover new ways to play each hole.
You can travel the Midwest and you won't find a better value, better people and a better "golfer's" club. This track defines what a Midwest golf experience should be all about. Shame on you if you have dropped $300 playing a pretend Scottish links coarse in Wisconsin with out playing this hidden gem as well.
